    New Body

I am currently restoring a series111 stage1 tray top ute but I have a brady bunch situation and now need to seat 2 adults and six kids so I now need to change the body. What i want to know what body type would be best would it be possible to fit a defender rear body front screen etc also what would be the best seating configuration, how much?would it be worthwhile?
    Thanks Pete

Stage one wagon body would be easiest, defender bulkhead is very different.

Any series wagon body would suit, however you will have to have it engineered to allow you to carry more than the original 3 passengers.

It may be cheaper to buy a Stage 1 or County wagon and sell the ute.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I went the other way (wagon to ute). Its do-able but a lot of work.
Best to buy a complete vehicle as a donor or you'll be forever chasing bits and pieces.

If you like playing with big mechano sets, you might even enjoy it.
