    Hope it's not too hard.
    just open my box.
    It has the plate, 2 arms and a bag of 4 nuts/bolts
    No instructions.

    ok I'm home from canberra. I cant find the cable to upload pics from my camera to my computer but here goes.

    Move the guard back one bolt hole on the chassis and all should be good.

    The front bolt hole on the steering guard side plate lines up with the single hole in the chassis, in the A frame section under the forward most body mount.

    The rear bolt hole lines up with the tubular section on the underside of the chassis where I think the original steering protector bolts to.

    Sometimes it is easier to disassemble the guard and fit the two side plates and then re-attach the rest of it.

    Thanks mate we got that far...did your single hole under the body mount line up ok with the bracket on plate.....ares doesn't it appears we are going to have to cut what looks like a stones sheild of some sort for the radiator...Still pics would be good when you get a chance

    What a shiddy set up that is there are no bolts that mount the side brackets to the chassis unless you never pictured them

    DB by the looks of your first pics maby you will need to drill the 3rd single hole right through ya chassis i had to do this to fit a bar to a rangie once before and i also fitted a crush tube and flat washer made from 5mm flat bar

    Yeah mine lines up ok so there was no extra drilling required. My arb bull bar serves to reinforce the inside of the chassis and on the outside I have a thick washer. It is possible to crush the chassis but I dont do it up THAT tight.

    Remember this thing is designed as a steering protector and so it hangs down to protect your steering arms and the panhard rod. It is still possible to bend arms with these things fitted, but it is more likely when the front axle is articulating as the steering components then have to drop down to follow the axle movement.

    My car is down at the auto elecs atm so I will have a look at what protection it gives to the radiator later today

    next to none......I'm not looking to protect the radiator I'm mearly saying I will have to cut a small amount from a stone guard just below it in able to fit the guard up as it interfears with the fitting of the guard!
    when we fit it I will take pics......

    and to the other guys that have kindly replied.....i dont need to drill the chassis as said before the hole is there! its just my bracket doesn't line up hole to hole because of this little bit of metal that hangs down from the stone guard thingy.

    We are going to cut it with tin snips hopefully and fold it back it looks as simple as that....wouldn't want to remove it altogther as i think it is protecting the bottom of the rad something I dont think the guard will do that greatly
