    7.50R16's ....good supplier

I am looking for a set of Michelin 750R16s for my 130. Any ideas at all?? No supply on the East Coast so import might be the option. Any hints much appreciated.

Try you local LR dealer. There may be someone "upgrading" their new Defender to alloy wheels. They may flog them to you. That's how I acquired my first set.

    that's a reasonable price too.

I recently bought a set off the eBay seller. Very professional transaction, ordered them from Sydney, had them in Brisbane the next day for $80 freight.

I also inquired with my LR dealer before opting for eBay. Their suggestion; "get them off eBay, we cannot match that price"!

7.50R16 XZL is my weapon of choice on my 110.

Wolf rims are the way to go too.

Are 750R16 xzl's still being made? The LR brochure is the only place I can find them.

Looks like the Czechs still have an SAT version: http://www.fedimaczech.cz/fedimaczec...160mm-112-110J

AFAIK - XZLs are still made.

Never had a tyre problem while running XZLs in Oz.

FWIW - When fully loaded, I have 60psi rear & 45psi front for Bitumen & dirt. When the going gets soft (Fraser, Border track, etc...), I would go down as far as 25psi, depending on conditions.

XZLs are fine for dune bashing.

Interesting point re: 750-16 size tyres...

On such programs which show the Worlds Worst Roads, -usually India, - all 4WD's seem to run this size/tread style.
Maybe it really is a universal and efficient off-road tyre, like what Land Rovers used to come with... And RRC's.
