    Angry Tailgate problem

    Hi
    I have 2001 disco series II and the back tailgate will not open with the remote. I have to open from the inside could this be the spring.
    The button does not pop up also.
    Any help would be appreciated

    my mate had the same kinda problem with his disco! his problem was the rear soloniod for the central locking had shifted on the rod for the locking rod which wasnt allowing it to open.

    try that maybe hopefully it is some help to ya

    we had similar problem on a D1, we replaced a little spring that had snapped, they are available on e bay uk.
