    tdi oil change

    how often should I change the engine oil in my 97 disco tdi.it had done 170,000 kms. Although the manual says every 10,000 some owners tell me every 5,000 I would like your opinion please

    I change our oil/filter every 5000km, have done with every car I ever owned.

    Also other things like grease uni's, ball joints ect I do at the same time.

    Also just a general inspection over the whole car you never know what else you find that needs replacing.

    Between 500 and 5,000km or every 3 to 6 months depending on how much and what type of driving I'm doing. In other words: as conditions dictate.
