    Lou, I really hope this is an issue with the 90, Series 2 or the Disco and isn't another issue with the Puma

    its the 90

    had it running on tick over......

    could hear a sort of hissing/bearing noise coming from around the turbo area.
    So we put a couple of rev's on to see if the noise would cease or increase......

    THEN

    two knocks/bangs and the car ran away with itself we couldn't turn it off or get it into gear to stall it! before it got up to some serious revs bellowing white smoke out the rear and it just stopped! dumping coolant over the floor

    So all will be revealed when we pull the head........and see what has gone wrong.
    I'm very very concerned the motor has seized
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    I'm kind of glad its not the Puma, but that really doesn't sound good. Is the 90 a 300Tdi?
