    only had one sort of run away diesel, working on an APC (army) adjusting the governor. A 2 stroke diesel, nil muffler, 3700 rpm before we got it back down to an idle, woke up the neighbourhood.

    for the record 3700 on a 2 stroke sounds like 7400 on a 4 stroke. As we had the engine cover off, the blower was open and I could see the rotors spinning and the exhaust was redirected away from us but was an open 4 inch pipe.

    We got it sorted in the end and had the fastest Fitters track around.
