    Another boring tyre thread

Considering my defender gets used for touring and soft road work ( graded fire trails etc) and I do not do rock climbing or mud baths I would like a serious response to me choosing goodyear high-miler 7.50 /16. I have used these in the past with both of my series 2a defenders and my work Toyota tray back with good results. I find they are hard wearing with good road holding together with the fact that the speedo is accurate. Any comments eg are there any similar tyres which will give an accurate speedo? Jim

Michelin XPC's or coopers ATR have been best tyres I have ever used on my range of landies.
