Reply With Quotepliers on the out side of the washer just be careful of the end of the injector any damage to the ends can effect the spray pattern and twist the washer around as you are pulling it off.

Just about to put the injectors back in my TD5, but I need to put the new brass washers on to the injectors, what the best to remove the old ones, without using the proper tool

. do take extreme care not to scratch the mating face and make sure it is 110% clean of grit b4 you put in the new washers.
