Thread: Long Range Petrol Tank for 97 Disco

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me where I could purchase a long range petrol tank for our 97 Disco on the Gold Coast?

I'm particularly looking for somewhere around a 180 litre tank and could you let me know how much I could expect to pay for one supplied and fitted.

I recently priced a pair of tanks (one replacement and one aux tank) for my Disco 2, and if my memory serves me correctly, it was around $2700 supplied and fitted, plus 163 litres of fuel for calibration and testing (but you keep the fuel).


I couldn't justify that so I bought a pair of pre-loved tanks from TRS in Adelaide. They cost around $900 delivered to the door in Canberra. I fitted them myself. Not difficult technically, but quite demanding when doing it on your own without a hoist or a pit. Took me two and a bit days, but saved a lot of money.
