    Unhappy Think my viscous has seized again

    This will be the third Viscous I've done in less than 200 000 kms
    Have noticed the Rangie is making tyre chirping on sharp turns on black top and fuel consumption is shocking. 20+ ltrs / 100...... I think its time for a LT230 even though I have another spare Viscous here.

    Any one want to sell a Defender LT230? I have a Disco one here but would rather go the lower Hi range with the 35s and 4:11 ratios going in so will be more drivable at 80 to 100 kmh.

    Tony;

    I'd Try TRS for a Defender LT230 .... They may have one in good nick . I find their prices to be very reasonable , but why not put in the Disco LT230 in for now to get you out of trouble for now and then look around for a defender LT230 later down the track when your ready to put on 35" and 4.11's.

    Just been taking about the 94 Disco here. I've decided to part it out as we need a few bits for the Rangie anyway. So will use the Disco LT230 for now. Bit of a shame as would have been a good repairer. The old story... They're worth more as parts.

    I still need a long output shaft for the ZF though

    The Disco is late 94 with R380 and 300Tdi. Probably should put it all in the Rangie
    I just need the long shaft and ideally a fender LT230 as have two good ZFs here.
