    ES Supercharged Disco Idle Issues

    the story so far

purchased 96 ES 3.9 Disco, has pacemaker supercharger fitted with all usual bits and goes very very well when warmed up. Issue is with cold start and cold idle, and hot re-start. Cold start it runs very rich with low and lumpy idle initially then smoothing out as revs slowly step up.

On warm restart revs initally rise and then fall to almost stumble, resulting in the usual loop until it settles as warms through. Checked and cleaned stepper moter, done timing, checked temp sensor, fixed manifold leaks (many initially), fuel pressure good (two pumps) and so on. New leads, plugs, oil change, filters etc and it's improved but still not good enough for wife to trust on a cold Pelverata morning.

Also set the base idle, but not sure if the supercharger influences that adversly.

Justin Cooper bought his house working on this one. The former owner with purchase, regular servicing and repairs has spent 33k and lost 24K on it over 7 years. But JC's away atm.

My problem is not knowing much about the influence of the supercharger on fuelling and re-start, and base idle. So, is this normal due to it, or is there something else going on? Going to get a reader for the fault codes, but computer has been re-mapped twice in last 3 years....so should be good......hum

    Anyone experience something similar?
