7.0mm bearing rollers required
A motor cycle restorer of my acquaintance has a need for some 7.0mm x 7.0mm bearing rollers. For big end bearings. He has tried all the usual suspects and can get 6.0 and 8.0 but not 7.0. I though of using dowel pins and shoulder bolts but got the same results.
Anyone here got any sources or ideas?

Not enough meat in the con rod to do this safely. Would also mean crankshaft work.
This appears to be yet another instance of non-standard sizes being used to lock the owners into the manufacturers over-priced spare parts system. This is on a fifties BSA.
The Japanese are particularly fond of this nasty trick, Honda & Kawasaki being foremost.
