Thanks for that, between lifes othe obligations and still negotiating my way around the forum, and pulling the bits together to fire this old landy up, I will soon be there. BTB which direction do you count cylinders from, is no 1 at the fire wall or radiator end?

No 1 is at the front of the motor (radiator end)
