When switching from another gearbox oil to Motul 300 they recommend that you fill the gearbox and run it for a short period of time and then replace it.
But the cost of Motul 300 is $45+ per litre so could not justify doing that kind of flush - that is money going down the drain!
Am still on the first change over from Motul 300 and for my gearbox it seems the best. (Have used Syntrans and was very happy with it too)
Has anyone used the Penrite SIN manual gearbox oil?

Castrol Syntrans - can be hard to find in retail stores but is sold at your local Castrol oil distributor - was something like $20 a litre the last time I bought it.

Valvoline have a readily available and reasonably priced 75W85 semi synthetic GL4 called Duragear. I've used it and can thoroughly recommend it.
