    TD5 ecu help.... Arhhhhhhhh

    Hi Guys,

Ended up getting the Defa to "kinda" work,

Turns out it was a bad earth off the fire wall to the Chassis, forgot that one

Anyway now all the Dash headlights are working but there is no fuel pump, So I thought I'd just try my spare Disco ECU and again and the lovely sound of the fuel pump was once again echoing through my house at 1 pm in the morning.

    So I have two questions

    1. Can anybody repair my Defa ecu?

    2. Will the Disco ecu work in my Defa (the ecu is from a manual if that helps..)

    Many thanks Ben............

    1. Someone must be able to but I dont know where
    2. Yes. This is relativley simple. I run a D2 ecu in mine sometimes. The only issue I have is the temp gauge goes backwards! There may be other differences though that I am unaware of. If you have a Nanocom you should be able to set it up.

I thought i was going insane, when the temp gauge went to the red and truck wasn’t even running.

I don’t have a nanocom but may be able to get a hold of one. Anyone?

But it should start even without "setting" it up with a nanocom?

Worst thing is I was up there on Monday and Tuesday nights helping fix another members RR.

see if anyone more local offers, but depending on when you want it done I could probably be persuaded to pop over.
