    52mm hub socket

Not sure if this needs to be in

Technical Chatter...Defender County... or here....so mods move it to wherever

ho har is doing the wheel bearings on the fender as we seem to be having vibration problems and the rear wheels seem to have play in them

so we went to buy a 52mm socket this morning...we tried..Qld trade

tools..Glenfords..even super cheap and auto barn.....

seems no one stocks this size does anybody know where these big sockets

can be found for future reference

been told Qld Diesel Spares might have them

so in frustration ho har came home and fabricated one and works a treat

most females go to shopping centeres but I am happy to go to tool shops

    Too much wine already tonight.

I'm drowning my sorrows - tomorrow my wife will be back from 4 weeks holiday in Europe.

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

I enquired with FWD's just in the last couple of weeks about one of these, and was told they have no stock and couldn't forecast when they might have them again. I would also like to know where to source one.

Isn't the landy one the same as the Toyota one - so you could try a Yota dealer.

Also the last one I bought from FWDs was not a socket but a tube spanner so looking for these rather than sockets might help - I must say though the old one I has got twisted out of shape getting an over tightened hub nut off.

    Cheers
