Takes a bit of fiddeling but not too hard

They are an alloy head, so they shouldn't weld on a 300 Tdi. Just remove the wiring loom then unscrew them out

I pulled all mine out to check them a while ago. Turned out the relay/timer was buggered. I'm getting my new second hand one off my old Landy on Sunday

LOL thats why I'm only 5ft tall then!!!

Glad you seem to be enjoying your field work, you'll learn all sorts of things about operator abuse of machines and the fact that most operations are driven by accountants and therefore you have to fight tooth and nail to get anything more than bare essential maintenance done..and when a machine stops its YOUR name in the mud etc etc etc

Anyway, sounds to me you picked a good carreer path!
Next time you are down this way, Paul has had years of experience on mining equipment on sites etc if you have any queries I reckon he'd be happy to answer them

No worries luckily this one is a waranty job, hopefully. The machine has only done 2000 hours

I always did enjoy being outside, even if I can't feel my fingers and it's ****ing down with rain

I'll make sure I drop in to say Gday, I have to grab the key for my Rear Drawers off him if he still has it
