Has anyone successfully repaired/straightened damaged flares on a 110 using heat, or any other method ??

I don't think the 110 flairs are fibreglass, well the county ones arn't anyway, they seem to be some sort of flexi plastic

thats some serious heat you used there.........

i would have used a hot air gun.........

the flairs are plastic.......they have a memory........
heating them will pretty much get them back the shape they were on their own.......
    as you have done.......

the heat also softens the paintwork and prevents it from cracking as the plastic changes shape.......

good job there.......great work........you cant tell it was ever out of shape from the pics you posted......
