Hmmm, obviously you don't frequent the Isuzu section very often do you....Variable nozzle technology, instant lag free boost....need I go on? Just hit the search button
Pretty expensive though but it'll make the 90 break traction. (And probably a few axles etc)

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

I'm sure it's sorted by now. I had a hose split b/w turbo and i/cooler last week and it made a wind rushing and screeching sound.....all fixed but I should have used after market boy racer hoses instead of the genuine replacement item...expensive whole kit, pipe and all. Not sure on the 200/300 engine models.

You should try ebay for a turbo rebuild kit.

I don't have the number for a 200Tdi turbo. Find the Garrett part number on a tag that should be fixed to the compressor housing, then the component part numbers can be tracked down.

It looks like it should be a Garrett TB0242, number 465171-0001, these were replaced by 4655171-0002. But find the number first, to be sure.

If so the service kit is Garrett number 709143-0001. This kit is used in many other Garrett turbos so should be readily available on ebay.

The C.H.R.A. (the rotating assembly) is 443854-0033

I thought that only happened when you replaced the turbo with something bigger and better.
I had the same problem. It turned out to be the wife when she saw how much money I spent.

turbo arrived in the post today.......fingers and toes crossed everyone that this is the issue...if it wasn't it was going to be as the neighbour over the road rebuilds Garrett and he said it was knackered. to much all direction play in the shaft

He also offered to get a quote to rebuild it at work......and came back to us really apologetic as he was unable to do so as they could not get there hands on a kit as Garrett were not interested in these types of turbos any more.

We ended up buying form the UK hopefully this is will be it though and we can get the bloody thing back on the road.

    best of luck with it...

do yourself a favor and back wash the intercooler with water then restirct the inlet before you go hooking it all up. (Sorry I missed this thread earlier)

Weve just sent a pootrol that someone owns at work back to the dealer to get a new intercooler fitted as the old one cracked at a fin joint.

    near enough identical symptoms.
