    D3 TOW HITCH

We are really confused as to why Landrover have positioned a tow hitch so that if you are towing and the D3 gets a flat, you cant access the spare without dropping the trailer. They tell me that Mitchell Bro's have a High Rise
Tow hitch that can be fitted to D3, has any one got one and most importantly does Landrover recognise it under warranty.
Cany anyone shed some light. Thanks

The LR one is positioned so that the rear recovery hook behind the bumper can still be accesssed used, with the tow hitch in place.

The standard tow hitch set up, as well as being expensive, certainly is dodgy looking eh ! I'm not sure whether the high-rise ones would interfere with the opening of the door you'd have to check it (probably not but may be an issue with teh trailer attached?)

The easiest solution is, of course, to toughen up and buy a Defender !
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I was at Davis Performance Landys today and I saw, I think, a replacement D3 hitch for $700

    Thanks old Bushie

We traded our 2002 Xtreme Defender for a new D3. I am afrasid that I was not tough enough. I must say it is like riding on air in the new D3 and we
don't have to shout at each other any more.
