i used my pto for the first time the other weekend and didn't think it was slow, started the recovery in 1st gear, changed to second and used accelerator to vary the speed, used third gear to spool the cable inQuote:

If you fit a 9.5XP (basically a XD9000 with a 6hp) just check the fit. If it is to be fitted inbetween the chassis rails, then the fairlead cant be centred - so it may not fit a standard bar unless the bar has cutouts to fit the motor through it.
