    Steve,

Don't forget these trans need a few Kms to get to a temp that allows lock up. It won't go into lock up straight away when cold, give it a decent test drive to check.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

I've just come back from a test drive and everything seems to be working as it should. I'll drive it to/from work this week to clock up a few k's just to be sure everything settles down OK.

It took me longer than I expected to do it, but I did do a couple of extra jobs while I was at it such as giving the starter a clean out and lube, removing the trans cooler hoses and having them repaired, and replacing the coolant hoses since I had to drain the system anyway.

Apart from almost wrecking the trans by not engaging the converter properly, the only thing I stuffed up was leaving the little clip that holds the breathers at the back of the engine until last to refit.
The clip seems to have done a runner - not on the floor, cant see/feel it anywhere on the breather tubes, so I can only assume its jammed between the engine adapter plate and the foam where I cant see and cant get my fingers.
Wish I had thought about it earlier before I had everything bolted back together.

Thanks again to everyone who helped me along the way - especially Andy and Mike that responded in time to stop me breaking the trans.

    Steve
