Talking P38 Lift Plus Some Other Stuff

    G'day guys,

First things first im new to this forum and since stumbling across it i have become addicted

anyways i am "attempting" to put a spring conversion in my 95 P38 HSE and then im going to put a 2" spring lift in....my question to you guys will i be able to fit 33" tires under a 2" spring lift or will i need to go out and get a 2" body lift aswell?

also what else would i need to change for a 2" body lift?

im working in the dark here with a rough idea of what i want to do. i realise that turning a p38 into a offroader is "meant" to be "impossible" but i want to prove people that say its impossible wrong!

p.s money isnt an issue i just want the best value for money

    Thanks guys!

    hey mate,
a mod should be along to move this question into the P38/range rover section. you will probably get a better response there.

Oi, we do venture out into other areas of AULRO too ya know !!

Why are you doing a coil conversion?

Check out PaulP38's car. Lifted on longer airbags & running 33s (I believe).

    hey,

discowhite - do i have to notify a mod? im not too sure on how this works..

Scouse - i decided on a coil conversion two reasons 1.airbags are too expensive to maintain...i have already replaced one bag, a line and air compressor mounts which has cost me $$$ plus the bags were too soft for me call me stupid but i want a harsher ride

    Thanks guys.

the air bag will still be controlled by the shock, so stiffer rate shocks will give you a firmer ride. also there are manual inflation kits for the bags, i havnt looked into these, but i figure you should be able to keep a higher pressure in the bag?

    Thanks guys.
    cheers phil
