Neo Z12 or even better Redline CV-2 grease fixes that problem in the 65 amp needle roller, probably have to pry the seals out and re-pack for the 100amp ones.

You still only have the 65 amp alternator but Rick, they really need a 100A to run winch's,fridges etc. Pat

In an ideal world I agree Pat, but it still works and I could never justify the $ for a new one.

I got a pas pump and a timing belt kit from these guys, postage quoted was 20 quid just for the pump and 40 for the t/belt kit but they deliver free mainland UK so i had then sent to out Heathrow office.

Just spoke to Ashdown-Ingram for some bits for a customer and asked about the two alternators.
The Transit MXA 828 is $70 cheaper than the Disco MXA 831 one but there's nil stock and they don't know when there'll be more. Plenty of stock on the 831, but they aren't cheap, $355+ trade.

Loanrangie, just got a quote for freight from Paddocks Spares UK$148.36 UPS or $132.53 Air Mail and the cost of original MM Alt. $186.32 so it's about the same price I can buy it here for, good price the Alt., pity the cost of getting it here, Regards Frank.
