GNB Sprinter battery - suitable as 2nd Battery?

Am setting up a dual battery system for the D2a. I have a GNB Sprinter s12v300 which was once used in a UPS. They are an industrial grade battery (from what I have read).

Will this battery be suitable for use as my second battery? I will be using a Traxide kit.

    Cheers

Specs for that battery appear to be as follows :

    GNB Sprinter S12V300F
    Valve Regulated Lead Acid Battery
    12V 300WPC @ 15 min. rate, 1.67vpc
    Features
    Absorbent Glass Mat Technology, AGM
No restrictions for Ground/Air Transport, non spillable battery
    Specifications
    Dimensions = 10.25"L x 6.85"W x 8.8"H
    75 ah
    63 lbs

So it looks like it would be OK for the intended purpose. ( Mr Drivesafe might like to comment )
( provided it wasn't removed from the UPS coz it was stuffed of course.)

    Just some advice..

Be wary of using them underbonnet, their operating range is to +50c and they will get much hotter under there.

That will significantly reduce their lifespan.

Optima etc have a different construction and work to higher temps IIRC.

Nothing wrong with using it underbonnet, just be aware that temps under there get often much hotter (up to 100c+)
