Cheapest way is to find a RRC with a Chev already fitted and strip it.

Mine has done about 400,000 k's and gets around 4 k's to a litre of lpg, which works out at 10 - 11 cents / k.

thats better economy than i was getting with my megasquirted 3.5 on vapour injection LPG, did need a tune though, may have had something to do with the stuffed engine though

id love to have a chev in my disco but for the costs involved i might just bolt a turbo onto a spare 3.5 i have, can probably get away with it for $6-700, it wont be the same though

how have your diffs coped with the extra power and torque?

Diffs have been fine over the 170,000 I've had the thing for. Doesn't get thrashed off road. Using one of those Ritters C9 conversions the last 60,000.

Still running a little rich on gas I suspect. Think it should get about 4.5 to 5 k / l.
