    I,ve broken countless tailshafts and 3.5 CWP sets. But have never broken a Maxidrive hemisphere. These have been in the car for the last 12 years and have had a TDI Isuzu pushing 500+ NM of torque turning them for the past 6 years. Just pulled the front diff apart to laminate the housing and the 4;11 CWP look fantastic. Very interesting your breakages

    I will bring them to the next meeting if you like so you can have a look , but i have not broken c,w its broken drive and planetary gears both times rick fixed it the first time because mal didn't want to know about it . This time we don't have any way to fix it .

    Mate if you could that would be great. If you have a good sample I would't mind getting some manufactured as spares as i dont think MR will be going into production in the near future.

    No problem

    no problem may have to work something out as i would like some to it is really hard to look at $2500.00 sitting on a bench and can't fix it . Have had some luck as i was told that the owner of aussie diffs on the gold coast had a lot to do with them when mal was testing them . A bloke that goes by the the name of big AL KNOWS MAL WELL AND IS GOING OUT TO MALS AT CHARLIVILLE FOR A SPELL SO HE WAS GOING TO HAVE A CHAT TO HIM AND SEE WHAT HE CAN DO . fingers xed

    So you broke the Planet Gears while the Diff was locked?

    Was it an early model with the Holden 1 Tonne gears?

    Were the axles still ok?

    Sorry for all the questions, first time I've heard of someone smashing the Diff Gears!

    no mine was only 2 years old and my brother was 8 months old rick just about fell over two but once you start talking to people you do find it something that does happen just not happy it's us
