It is probably easier for you to source a length of copper rod 6.35mm dia. and cut your own at 50mm long. This is what we do. We sell shear pins for $A7.00 + 10% GST PLUS POSTAGE and Handling. Probably cheaper and quicker to source over there.

As for stainless steel, I would think the winch would shear before the shear pin did if you use that.
