    TD5 fuel pressure regulator

Just replaced my leaking fuel pressure regulator and took the Defender for a drive, but it wasn't quite right. It didn't really have any noticeable low power problem, but it was different to drive than with the old regulator. I probably spent an hour thinking I had not bleed the fuel system correctly, and then looked for other possibilities and found .....

this..... o-ring damaged on my $395.00 fuel pressure regulator.

It would have been interesting to have a gauge on it to see what fuel pressure I had. I won't pull the complete housing off again either, it took about 20 seconds to line up the circlip holes and remove it, and then light twisting with some multi grips and out it came.

So, is it all fixed with a new O-ring?

Yep, but still seems to run differently. When it comes back to idle it hesitates a couple of times and then idles ok, a bit disconcerting when it appears it might stop in traffic, but it keeps going. Might be coincidence and I have to check the injector harness again.
