    235/85 on spare carrier

Will a 235/85 fit on a standard D1 wheel carrier?

If it does, I'm inclined towards these over 245/75.

Only if you mount it deflated ( say 10 psi), otherwise it's too large. I have 235/85's, and they are good off road with a 2 inch lift and some rear guard cutting. ( Exception is where you tow heavy stuff - you need the standard dia wheels or a defender transfer case)

Haha cheers. I thought they'd have slowed it down up all those mountains, is yours automatic?

Yeah I was in a burning hurry. Plenty of mud down there, maybe I'll come back for a drive sometime.

The waiting time on KM2s and Bighorns is in the order of several weeks as I found out today, if anyone is thinking of buying them (ie order early, not the week before a trip)

Did you consider 265/75? If so why did you chose 235/85? I'm also considering one of these sizes.
