    Seeing as I seem to have a habit of removing rear propshafts on the track lately, I've just ordered one of these sockets from my local tool bloke.
    Not too sure of the brand yet but it's a 6pt & only $8.

    It arrived today, Kokon (or Koken, it's a bit hard to read) brand, made in Japan so I'm happy with that .

    Scott, which tool shop did you get it from ? a part number ?

    sounds like a 3/8" drive ???

    I ordered through a tool guy who drops into the workshop each week. A&K Tools I think he is.

    It's a 1/4" drive socket, 6 pt. The number stamped on it is 2400A 070 if that's any help.

    I can order another through him if you have trouble finding one.
