Tightening torque for bell hopusing bolts - TD5

    G'Day All,

I'm runing the wiring to a temperature sensor I've fitted into the sump on my MY03 Defender and need to fit a small bracket to attach a cable tie where the clutch bell housing is bolted onto the engine.

Before I do this, I thought it would make sense to find out what torque these bolts are tightened to BEFORE I remove one.

Can anyone tell me what torque the bell housing/engine bolts are tightened to on a TD5 Defender (R380 gearbox)?

    Thanks.

No matter what the problem - there's a solution. You've just got to find it.

50nm ( 25nm for the slave cylinder if you use one of those bolts).
