    Brake pads

Just for sheer boredom, I'm posting pics, everyone loves pics, especially vern

This is what happens when your rear rotors are shot, you keep sticking second hand pads in, as you have new rotors in the shed as of ealry this week, but wan't to rebuild you whole rear diff into a new housing and go to work, and hear the grind, then haivng to work late a few nights, persist on driving

    Ahhhh the old Metal Kings.

Still get a few more hundred out of those babies. There's still friction material in the little holes.

Sounds like you are just doing your bit for the environment by recycling used pads

Reminds me of my sister - what noise??? - that metallic grinding noise... Oh, hadn't noticed it until now...

Looked something like this when I pulled it apart:

All those groves in the rotors will give you 50% more surface area for extra stopping power

I can understand the grooves that match the disc rotation, but how did you get the up and down ones? Or was that sort like regrooving them for even more life?
    Cheers
