ABS, Traction and Downhill lights come on

Hi I know there is a comon problem with Td5s and I have had mine looked at by different mechanics over the last 2 years and no one seems to be able to fix it.
Now the lights even come on at idle without even touching the brake.

Any hints beside getting rid of the Td5?

It could be a faulty wheel speed sensor, a damaged sensor harness or a faulty ABS modulator. Interrogating the system for the stored codes is a very good start if you can get access to someone with a Nanocom or other LR-specific diagnostic devices.

If the problem got progressively worse over time then there's a high probability that there is a circuit continuity fault inside the ABS modulator. These faults can be rectified by the individual but it would be best to have this supported by fault codes that indicate faulty shuttle valves / switches before starting such a repair, although I determined such a fault in mine without knowing the fault codes and repaired my ABS modulator.

Search this forum for 'amigos' and 'abs modulator' for previous threads.

I had mine fixed recently, it was the shuttle valve in the ABS.
