    New Disco 4: Wheel sizes start at 18"

    I have committed to the new Disco 4 TD2.7, delivery in December. (RIP 1998 Disco V8 )

    Does any one know what off road tyres will fit the 18" rims (tyres are 255/60)or am I up for a set of off road wheels which have to fit over it's new big 360 mm brake discs.

    I've seen a few around with General Grabbers & I'm sure Coopers do that size now too.

    There was a recent discussion thread on the Grabbers. Try a quick search.

    The UK specs has the 2.7 D4 using the old D3 2.7 brakes (317mm front, 325mm rear) not the larger ones which are just for the 3.0 & 5.0. Hence even 17" will fit.

    If the 17" wheels fit then the worlds my oyster. the Grabbers on 18" rims seem to have a positive following as well. Thanks for the help. Now I hope the D4 will be as much of a joy as the old D1.
