Just wondering about the flange on the input gear in LT230 transfer boxes.
As you can see in the photo (circled), I have removed an old input gear from a box that I am rebuilding, which has a different flange than the new gear beside it.
What difference will this make, will it cause me troubles down the track. As yet I have not removed my old LT230 to see what it has, nor do i know what the R380 takes in.
However, does that flange bit matter at all? Have I been sent the wrong input gear?
Any help appreciated!
