    Engine saver question

Hi brought engine saver temp, low coolant alarm and installed. All was going well for 4 weeks when I notice the temp side of things is no longer working.
    A bit disappointed

1 Has anyone had this problem?

    Engine saver brand thanks Griff

Hi no dramas with mine so far. Its possible the part that bolts to the block has been damaged? This I think is a capillery tube that relys on expansion of what ever fluid is inside the tube to operate the alarm. Simular to the old smiths temp gauges, brass line with brass bulb.

If that is the case a crease or kink or loss of whatever is inside the tube will cause the temp side of things not to work. Only guessing it might just be a faulty unit??

Ring whoever you got it from they might be more helpful.

    Hi Griff.

Give me a call in the morning & I will sort it out.

No previous reported problems with a temperature alarm so I am keen to hear from you.
