Rejuvenating rubber seals - with what?
The sun is deteriorating the rubber window seals on the alpine windows and boot area of my D1.
None of the seals leak, but small cracks are appearing in the ever more brittle rubber.
Can anyone recommend a product to rejuvenate the rubber, so that they last a bit longer?

seals
When I was in the green machine, they use to rub Glycerin on the rubber seals on Milan Missle carrying cases to keep them supple. Have a mate who rubs Dubbin saddle soap /polish on rubber to refresh it. Have not tried it but he reckons it works a treat. You heat it up with a hot air gun to melt it in. (not to hot) It can't hurt to try??
