    transmission options

    hi all

i have a broken center diff in my rangie (89) and after having pulled it out and all to pieces i have been wondering what other options i have. i would assume that the county drive train would happily bolt onto the back of the engine being that they are the same, and i was hoping they dont have the VCU in them. is are there any other or better options or are there any major problems with swapping them over.

ps. anyone in perth no where to get hold of these parts??

The consensus seems to be to install a LT230 ... But I believe that you have to change the output shaft at the back of the gearbox

Your's Auto or manual?? as I have a heads up on a 96 Disco manual setup
