Hi James
Late 2 will be the flashtune ECU,if they do have the NNN prefix ECU and it is manual Im willing to put my ECU into theirs for a test drive. It would have to be during the Xmas/new year break when Im home.
They would have to come down here,I have the Nannocom to sort the coding out.

Td5 Alive(in the UK) can upgrade "non-flashable" ECU's, (in the UK) via post, and does a bloody good job too. Very happy with mine.
Nope. He hard wires a chip into your original ECU. This bloke is the gun when it comes to tuning Td5's apparently. I'd highly recommend them. No excessive smoke, more power, better economy and as it's done properly, EGt's aren't excessive so you won't warp your manifold, common if it's not done properly. Pic shows how it's done. If I have a reprogrammable ECU (NNW*****), is it worth getting it remapped if I'm not doing any other mods?
I understand if I was getting a larger intercooler/exhaust, a remap would be necessary. But if my D2 is stock, is it worth it?
I do a lot of towing/touring, so a bit more mid-range would be nice...
If it is worthwhile, can anyone recommend someone in SE Qld who could do this?

a stock D2 will still benifit from the upgrade, its the egr/main muffler mods that you can do afterwards that put the icing on the cake so to speak.
cheers phil
Any TD5 will benefit from an upgrade.
Other mods set in place both gains in performance and also longevity to the vehicle....
A stock TD5 with an mapping upgrade will still be a much better vehicle than the original vehicle.
