Yep:D.
Turns out it had gone into "superlock" or something.
Opened the bonnet from under car .
Alarm went off pulled positive off the battery then put back on and it unlocked with key.
I could not use the EKA code because it turns out the door lock was broken (key would not work) just to add another element to my problem:D.
ben...
thanks every one for the help
Good to hear it was sorted out!
So I was right about the deadlocking (superlock).
I take it you got hold of the EKA for the Disco. Who would have thought the door lock was stuffed!
The broken lock was the missing link in the chain then!
Looks like it's an idea for all of us to check our locks work with the key then - wouldn't want it to happen out bush!

yep, thats what i do, feed solar into front anderson into main battery which then goes through redarc isolator to 2nd battery and back to caravan. caravan also has solar on it. have just purchased a 2way BEP isolator switch that i will be putting inplace of the redarc. it senses charge from either side and isolates the main battery. so if i have charge coming back from the caravan through the roof mounted panels and the isolator has main battery spereated, the charge from caravan will bring the main battery back inline for charging. good for when i go into town and leave the vehicle sitting in a parking lot while i nvestigate a new town or the touristy things for the whole day and still keep the fridge in the van running and everything topped up :)
