    Has my Gear Lever been using Viagra?

    I recently replaced my R380 gearbox in the Disco 1 with one out of a disco2.

    I used the disco 2 gear lever after measuring it with my old one and they are the same length.
    But it appears my gear lever has been taking viagra, it seems a bit higher that before.
    I used the Disco 1 bell housing and Disco one gearbox mounts.
    I did a visual check against another Disco 1 that was parked next to me and that seemed shorter.
    May be the Disco 2 notch for the gear lever attachment was higher that the Disco1 one.

    Yep all works properly. It's not worrying me, just not used to having the Leather Gaiter without the previous slop and the visual effect

    Well done, I say, if thats the only drawback to what you've done
    Post a picy of it ...... cause I would'nt have the foggy'est on what's normal .....

    from top of knob to the base at console is 24cms in neutral
