Are there any alternatives to the DPchip or Steinbauer chip. How can they justify the prices of powerchips for diesel motors with generic remaps on them??

Get your money back on what?

Generally no savings to be made remapping.... Economy doesnt usually alter, or if anything decreases just slightly...

Works with all Powercommander units.... So wider service base...

Service base limited by vehicle models etc... Must purchase additional equipment for different vehicles types/models/manufacturers.

And this excludes buying a Dyno and all associated equipment.

What model / spec vehicle are you looking at upgrading?

Clip on / plug in solutions arent the way to go...

And YES, the alternatives is more affordable and has an added bonus feature.
