No idea........but I can't sleep either![]()
It's late, it's too hot for sleep..........so heres another set of questions about my newly acquired bits.
The Calipers are quite large in comparison to early Range Rover gear so I assume they are late series 1 Discovery????? The Rangie Caliper is on the left, centre is from an unidentified Land Rover, and right is the fella in question.
The swivel balls and housing, I'm also unfamiliar with..
Having had a bit of a trawl though Rave and Britparts catalog I'm left with the impression they are Defender.

The caliper on the right looks to be one to suit a ventilated disc...
There are only two 4 pot caliper piston sizes.
41.3mm was used on all D1's, Classic rangies etc.
46mm was used on some Defenders and Counties.
Both piston sizes had the option of vented or solid rotors. Same caliper halves, just spaced wider in the middle.
There are two bolt sizes, 7/16 inch and 12mm, that was the change from imperial to metric somewhere along the line.
The classic rangies and some D1's had two lines to each front caliper. Presuming later classic rangies (with ABS) would be single line to each caliper but I haven't seen one in person.
