Pic of Fridge installs in Disco 1 only please

Just hoping some of you could post pics of your fridge installs in Disco series 1s. Due to narrow load area. I also have a cargo barrier, but that's flush against the back seats
I have a CF50 and it's too long to fit length ways , so will have to fit it side ways, but would be interested how you mounted yours and drawer examples.

Here is a pic of my D1 with a sideways Waeco slide and a 70lt fridge, storage shelves above, down the side and underneath !
Sorry about the poor quality of pic !!
I found in my other D1 my CF50 fridge will fit length ways with the handles off but not with a cargo barrier
    Cheers and good luck !

Fridge never turns off, I have drinks and my lunch etc in it and use it just like the house fridge while working / traveling !

I also run a 80 watt permanently mounted solar panel to assist !

I am setting it up for touring, so taking the seat out is not an option for an already cramped Disco. We are all tall. so room is important.
I will have to mount it side ways, just seems a waste of space in front or behind the fridge.

Not quite what you asked for, but the drawers came out of a disco before being fitted to the rrc, as for fridge location this was my setup for the trip to the cape but as you can see its only suited for 2 to travel in

The fridge location was a tricky one, if we put in on top of the drawers it would have been a pain to get access to from both the height perspective and also the minimal room to access it from the top, so we decided to fit it behind the passengers seat. The fridge came with a mounting bracket and clip lock slide. We modified the bracket so that the passengers seat would be comfortable but also so the lid of the fridge could be wedged on the roof to hold it open for easier access to the fridge. The spare is mounted behind the drivers seat as it no longer fitted with the drawers and water tank in the back.

Not sure how they plan on closing the lid.

    Can you measure the length.

I have my 40l engle on a slide. It is a very tight fit but can be done.

If it is no longer I will take some pics and post.

    Dave.
