    300Tdi Block temperature sensor location

Where have owners of 300Tdi engines put a temperature sensor to monitor the block temperature?

I'm talking about after market temperature monitors, like the engine saver, madman, or single temperature monitoring units.
The sensor is one of those flat washer types that you stick under a bolt.

I am looking at an empty bolt hole (there are two close together) on the front of the block just near the thermostat housing and oil dipstick.

You only asked that question a few days ago, where the hell was I?

I searched for an answer as well, oh well.
