Thread: help! how do you wire up a optospark500n

Optospark 500N by Electroweld Engineering (03 9336 7164) at $150 plus $6 freight. Electroweld have been doing electronic ignition modules since about 1984 – the 500N being one of their latest offerings.

Even the Wosley install instructions say to 'attach yellow & orange to the coil'

Thanks Feral but that number is no longer in use, i saw the wolsley item as well and unfortunatley they dont say which wire goes to the positive ect, oh well have to keep looking i suppose, thank you again for your reply

what did you find mate.
im at the same stage now and cant find the correct info anywhere.

Orange wire to the coil pos.... yellow to coil neg.... green earth

left hand side of box with screw clamps facing your stomach red/black/white
from dissy
then green/orange/yellow
I still have the original manual
