Just in time is an understatement. Tell you what tho, the vibrations started late considering the damage. Mine was vibrating badly and it still looked fine (but there was movement).
Just did a week long trip. but started to notice a vibration at 80kmh. HMMM that is the speed a front prop will shake when getting worn. Worry about it when I get home. 100kmh its fine even maybe a bit more.. not that it was speeding of course. getting up the road near my house.... **** it's not good, shaking bad then all fine again. Next day about to go out, better check the UJs.... OK park her up!
Got some greaseable ones now.
Apparently these things are notorious for letting go and smashing holes in your gearbox.

In three words: YES THEY ARE
You were lucky.
They also don't always vibrate. Mine just exploded!
