    Sensor

So i checked the thermos by shorting the wire and they came on straight away

i went for a drive 10k drive down by the river and then sat in the driveway with the engine running for 10 minutes no overheating aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

But the fans didn't come on either probably cause it didn't get hot enough

So i would guess that if the weather is cold there is no need for the thermos and it doesn't overheat

And if the weather is hot they come on but if they dont come on the engine will get hot and possibly boil depending on the days temperature

as its 40 almost everyday here i think i need to fix it pretty quick

Does your Disco have a Viscous fan or only the thermo/electics?
Just wondering if Viscous has died and the electics are stugling to keep.

I find min. 1/2 hour of use to get the motor to full operating temp..
    Cheers, Kyle

My 93 disco has a bunch of fuseable ? links almost under
    the brake master cylinder.
one of these was blowen on mine years ago ( the fans would not come on at all ) took the
    auto elec ages to find.
    Replaced it and all good.
They are in a mesh looking sleeve.
